1. Go to the Settings app

How to bypass Google Play Protect

This warning appears because the app is not from Google Play and requests SMS access to read incoming test messages. These permissions can look sensitive, so Android flags them even when they are required for the app’s core function. Disabling Play Protect briefly for installation is safe, as normal protection resumes once you turn it back on.

1. Disable Google Play Protect

4. Select Play Protect

5. Tap the Settings (gear icon)

6. Find “Scan apps with Play Protect”

7. Temporarily turn off the setting

8. Make sure that the toggle is disabled

You can create your Money SMS account in a short time. Just follow the steps below to get started.

1. Start onboarding

2. Go to Sign up

3. Choose the app's language

4. Enter your country & phone number

5. Type email and create a password

6. Use a referral code if you have one

7. Continue to verify your email

8. Wait for a verification code

9. Check your email inbox

10. Enter this code in the app

How to give permissions to Money SMS

To receive test messages and use all features, Money SMS needs certain permissions. Here is how to allow them.

1. Tap the Allow Permission button

2. Check Android 15 warning

3. Open App Info & tap three dots

4. Allow restricted settings

5. Reopen the app & give permissions

If you are still unable to grant the permission:

1. Close the Money SMS App by swiping up to remove it from recent apps.

2. Reopen Money SMS App from the app menu.

3. The permission request should now appear.

How to receive SMS verification

You need an SMS code to verify your account and start receiving test SMS from us. Here is how to make sure you receive it.

What to do if you can't receive verification SMS?

1. The SIM you use for Money SMS must be in the same phone where the app is running.

2. Make sure your phone has a mobile signal and can receive normal SMS.

3. Make sure Money SMS has the correct phone number and full international format.

4. Restart the app and try the SMS verification again.

5. If you have two SIM cards, choose the SIM you want to use in Money SMS.
